Private boat tour from Portimão – from how many people is it worth it?

A private boat tour sounds like luxury, and at first glance the prices agree: €203, €350, €420. Next to them sit shared tours from €12 per person. The comparison looks obvious – until you notice that two different things are being compared.
The mistake
On shared tours the price is per person. On private tours it is per boat. As long as you mix those up, private always looks absurdly expensive.
